Sunday Post Edition 7

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

My blog week has pretty much been a bust.  I'm not achieving my goals and kind of getting frustrated finding the time to do everything on my wish list.  I will keep on keeping on though.  Try to squeeze more blog time in as well as more reading time.  I increased my Goodreads reading challenge by 10 books this year and am off to a terrible start.  BUT, I will try harder this week.  I have the Goodreads challenge, but I also signed up for the 2013 Audio Book Challenge that is hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens.  Audio books are a new thing for me, but have found them to be great company on the long drives to work and back.  I've also signed up for the 2013 E-book Challenge hosted by www.workadayreads.com.  I think that is going to be it for the 2013 Challenges.  I found myself scrambling at the end of 2012 trying to get in my Goodreads challenge!  I achieved it though, YAY ME!

I posted 2 review posts this week, one for Kill You Twice by Chelsea Cain and one for Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole.  I think I just surprised myself, I thought I only put out one post but I actually did two, again, YAY ME! I was looking back through posts and was really surprised to see that I had reviewed so few of the Kresley Cole books I've been reading.  I've obviously  been devouring them and not taking the time between to talk about them.  This close to the Accession I really need to be talking about them.
Currently I am finishing up Dreams of a Dark Warrior, I am so freaking out trying to figure out how this one is going to end.  Next up is Lothaire!  I am also listening to Sleepwalker by Wendy Corsi Staub.  It is the second of the Nightwatcher series.

My goal this week is to do 2 reviews and the Waiting on Wednesday meme.  Hold me to it people!

I hope you all have a great week!

  6. You can do it Tanya, and as for books finished without reviews...make yourself write a review before you start the next book. It is a rule I follow and it keeps me in check..LOL Have a great week and I am jelly about the audio books..I have a 4 min commute to work..no audio time. The Sunday Post

    1. Thanks for the support, the blog community is great and so helpful to new bloggers! I am going to take your advice and not start Lothaire until I review Dreams of a Dark Warrior. I didn't realize my hour long commute could be so entertaining, but I sometimes finding myself wanting there to bad traffic just so I can get a couple of extra chapters in! Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Don't be so hard on yourself. Your blog is not bust if you aren't achieving all of your goals. As long as you are enjoying the process. Kimba's tip to review right after reading is a good one. I have to go check out your review for the Kresley Cole book.
