Merit has been a vampire for only a short while, but she’s already seen a lifetime’s worth of trouble. She and her Master, centuries-old Ethan Sullivan, have risked their lives time and again to save the city they love. But not all of Chicago is loving them back.
Anti-vampire riots are erupting all over town, striking vampires where it hurts the most. A splinter group armed with Molotov cocktails and deep-seated hate is intent on clearing the fanged from the Windy City come hell or high water.
Merit and her allies rush to figure out who’s behind the attacks, who will be targeted next, and whether there’s any way to stop the wanton destruction. The battle for Chicago is just beginning, and Merit is running out of time.
Hi, everyone, and welcome to the BITING BAD Blog Tour! From July 29, 2013 to August 9, 2013 (click here for full schedule), Chloe is visiting blogs to give Merit an opportunity to rate the men of the Chicagoland Vampires series–are they “Book Boyfriend” material? Let’s see what she has to say.
Noah Beck
Hair/eye color: Brown/Blue
Species: Vampire
House affiliation: N/A Rouge
First appearance in book (book/page): SGB, page 304
Thoughts: As the unofficial leader of Chicago’s Rogue vampires, Noah is strong and loyal, but still a bit of a mystery. He’s also affiliated with the Red Guard, to which I’ve sworn allegiance, but I know more about my own partner, Jonah, than I do about him. But I’m pretty sure there are layers to peel back.
Verdict: B- / Possible book boyfriend material; additional research necessary.

I'd give him a B possible A if we learn more about him. He's smart, sexy and loyal all great qualities in a BF. I am really curious to learn more about his past and why he's a rogue and how he got into the Red Guard.
ReplyDeleteI would give him a C+ because not much is known about him. But if we do learn more about him, that could change.
ReplyDeleteI think a B is my rating for Noah at the moment. He's more of a mystery right now and I'm looking forward to finding out more about him.
ReplyDeleteI think the mystery gives him some points. Who isn't interested in a good looking, mysterious vampire?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm interested to find out why he is not affiliated with a House. Although, independence is a pretty good quality to have.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to agree with the B- rating. I don't think we know enough about him to go any higher. But I reserve final judgment, pending receipt of further information. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I know enough about Noah to rate him.....although being that he's a rogue, that has to bump the grade up a little just on the "Bad Boy" vibes!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, bad boy vibes definitely count positively!
ReplyDeleteAt the moment, until I learn more about him, I give him a 7. Thanks for sharing your post and the giveaways. I love Chicagoland Vampires. evamillien at gmail dot com
ReplyDeletehmm..B rating feels right. But that could change later.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an 8. I like that he's a take charge vampire and doesn't play by the rules :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat rating for Noah's book boyfriend material. He is obvi a Bad Boy, which is a huge positive, but more information is definitely needed. Spin Off series?!
ReplyDeleteLove Merit's rating of Noah. We don't know much about him but what we do know is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Merit's rating. I think the more we get to know him, he rating will go up :)
ReplyDeleteProbably a B or B- since we don't much about him :)
ReplyDeleteB or B- since we don't much about him :)
ReplyDeleteB for now then we will see.
ReplyDeleteDon't know much about him, so I guess a B rating is okay.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read this series, but it looks really interesting. Just stopping by to leave some blog love <333
ReplyDeleteI would give him a B
ReplyDeleteOh you must read this series! I wish I had a copy to send you, you'd love it!
ReplyDeleteI would give Noah an A-! He's just so mysterious, and he has that whole bad-boy thing going on...XD
ReplyDeleteI would give him a B-
ReplyDeleteWe just don't know enough about him yet, but what we do know so far is really good. Hopefully we will learn more about him in another book.
Thanks for the giveaway!
